Ludhiana/ June 16/Daljeet Ajnoha – In a high-level interaction held today, Senior Journalist Sanjiv Kumar met with ADC (General) Ludhiana, Shri Rohit Gupta to discuss the final preparations being undertaken for the Ludhiana West Assembly elections.
During the meeting, Shri Rohit Gupta gave a comprehensive briefing on the measures being taken to ensure free, fair, and peaceful elections in the constituency. He emphasized that the district administration is in full swing, making last-minute preparations with precision and urgency.
“Under the dynamic leadership of Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain, all departments are working in close coordination,” said Rohit Gupta. “Whether it’s voter awareness, polling staff training, or security deployment — everything is being monitored round the clock. Our priority is to uphold the integrity of the democratic process.”
He further mentioned that extensive planning has been done to ensure accessibility for differently-abled voters, senior citizens, and first-time voters. Polling booths have been equipped with all necessary facilities, and a strong mechanism is in place to handle any unforeseen challenges on election day.
Sanjiv Kumar, while appreciating the efforts of the administration, expressed confidence in the district’s ability to conduct smooth and well-organized elections. He also highlighted the importance of the media in ensuring voter awareness and transparency throughout the process.
The meeting concluded with mutual assurance of cooperation between the administration and the media to support a vibrant democratic exercise in Ludhiana West.
