Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Feb.12 : Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain informed that free yoga classes are being successfully conducted across the district under the Punjab government’s ‘CM Di Yogshala’ campaign. The main objective of this initiative is to encourage the general public to adopt a healthy lifestyle through yoga.She stated that currently, a total of 349 yoga classes are being held regularly in urban and rural areas of the district, both in the morning and evening. A large number of people are enthusiastically participating in these classes and reaping the benefits for their physical and mental health.Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain emphasized that yoga not only keeps the body healthy but also plays a vital role in relieving mental stress and preventing lifestyle-related diseases. She appealed to the public to regularly practice yoga and take steps towards a healthy life.For the smooth and effective implementation of the campaign, District Coordinator Kiran Bala is continuously monitoring the activities.
