Hoshiarpur/ Daljeet Ajnoha/Nov.20 : A special meeting of the Guru Ravidass Sadhu Sampraday Society (Regd.), Punjab, was held at Shri Guru Ravidass Public School, Chuharwali, under the chairmanship of Sant Sarwan Dass Bohan and Society President Sant Nirmal Dass Babe Joṛre. The meeting reviewed the society’s ongoing activities and discussed the schedule of events for 2026.Addressing the gathering, President Sant Nirmal Dass Babe Joṛre and General Secretary Sant Inder Dass Sekkhe announced that a grand ceremony will be organized on December 7 at Shri Guru Ravidass Begumpura Sadan, Khuralgarh Sahib, to mark the 350th martyrdom anniversary of the Ninth Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji Maharaj, Bhai Mati Dass Ji, Bhai Sati Dass Ji, and Bhai Dyal Dass Ji.On this occasion, under the sanctified presence of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj, Kirtan Darbars will be held in open pandals featuring renowned Raagis, Dhadis, Kavishari groups, and Kathavachaks, who will connect devotees with the historical significance of the event. Special prayers of 350 Sukhmani Sahib recitations will be offered, with an appeal to various deras and congregations to hold similar recitations at their homes.During the meeting, it was also resolved that the Prakash Parv (birth anniversary) of Satguru Ravidass Maharaj Ji will be celebrated at Shri Guru Ravidass Begumpura Sadan on February 13, 2026. The annual historic Damarḍi Procession will be held from April 3 to 5, 2026, for which special train reservations will be arranged for devotees by consensus.The attending saints emphasized promoting social and religious unity and appealed to all religious, social, and political organizations to actively participate in these upcoming events.Prominent saints present on the occasion included Sant Sarwan Dass Salemtauri (Senior Vice President), Sant Paramanjit Das Nagar (Treasurer), Sant Balwant Singh Dingrian (Vice President), Mahant Prashotam Lal Chakk Hakim (Assistant Treasurer), Sant Dharampal Shergarh, Sant Ramesh Dass (Dera Kalran Sherpur Dhakaun), Sant Jagir Singh (Sarbat Bhala Ashram Nandachaur), Bahen Santosh Kumari (Building In‑Charge), Sant Balkar Singh Taggar Wadāla, Sant Manjit Dass Vichhohi, Sant Manohar Dass Liddharan, Sant Sansar Chand Laroe, Sant Prem Dass, and Sant Ram Swaroop Giani, among others.
