Hoshiarpur / Daljeet Ajnoha/July 1 : Swami Sajjananand Ji, a disciple of Gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji — the founder and head of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan — paid a courtesy visit to Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Jai Krishan Singh Rouri. During the meeting, Swami Ji shared detailed information about the various religious, social, and educational activities being run by the organization.
The Deputy Speaker appreciated the Sansthan’s efforts after learning about its wide-ranging initiatives. Swami Ji highlighted how the Sansthan’s Kamdhenu Gaushala is dedicated to the conservation and promotion of indigenous Indian cow breeds. All cattle are fed entirely on organic fodder.
He also mentioned the establishment of the Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ayurvedic Pharmacy in Noormahal, where traditional Ayurvedic medicines are prepared according to ancient Indian texts. Additionally, an organic orchard has been developed where a variety of fruits are grown through natural, chemical-free methods.
The Deputy Speaker emphasized the importance of moving toward organic living in today’s time, stating that it is essential for maintaining good health — and the Sansthan is fulfilling this need commendably.
During the visit, Swami Ji also extended a formal invitation to the Deputy Speaker for a grand event scheduled to be held on July 10 in Noormahal.
