Deputy Commissioner Issues Instructions During Meeting with Officials
Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha /July 15 : While addressing a meeting regarding the preparations for the district-level Independence Day function to be held at the Police Lines Ground, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain instructed all officials to perform their duties with utmost sincerity and responsibility. She emphasized that all assigned duties should be carried out with seriousness and commitment.
She further stated that no shortcoming should remain in the arrangements being made at the Police Lines Ground for the Independence Day celebrations. During the meeting, she issued necessary directions to the concerned officers for various aspects including departmental tableaux, barricading, parking, stage decoration, seating arrangements, cleanliness, distribution of awards and appreciation letters, drinking water, sound system, refreshments, first aid, fire tender arrangements, security, and traffic control.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that during the district-level ceremony, freedom fighters will be honored, and distinguished individuals with exceptional achievements in various fields will also be felicitated. She added that various departments will present tableaux showcasing their developmental works.
She also directed the District Education Officer to ensure that preparations for mass PT shows and cultural performances by school children are completed properly and in time.
Present at the meeting were Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Nikas Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Amarbir Kaur Bhullar, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Jyoti Bala Mattu, Assistant Commissioner Oeshi Mandal, SDM Hoshiarpur Gursimranjeet Kaur, SP Navneet Kaur Gill, RTO Amandeep Kaur Ghumman, along with several other officials.
