Hoshiarpur / Daljeet Ajnoha/August 5 : The 30th death anniversary of former MLA Chaudhary Sundar Lal Ji was solemnly observed in Hoshiarpur by his family, led by former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Madam Santosh Chaudhary, who is also his daughter-in-law. A large number of Congress workers gathered to pay their respects.
Speaking on the occasion, Madam Santosh Chaudhary remembered Chaudhary Sundar Lal Ji as a true public servant who dedicated his entire life to the welfare of the people. She said he was always ready to support the poor and remained committed to public service 24/7. His honesty and love for the people still live in the hearts of many.
She expressed concern over the current political scenario, stating that today’s politics has become solely about money. “Nobody cares about the people anymore. The rising incidents of loot and murders are the result of the Aam Aadmi Party government’s failure,” she said. “The four years of AAP rule have felt like forty years to the people.”
Madam Chaudhary further added that in earlier times, leaders were respected for their character and service, but now only money is valued. Whether it’s an MLA or a minister, everyone seems to be focused on making money, with little regard for the welfare of the common people
