Jalandhar/ August 26/Daljeet Ajnoha :A thought-provoking seminar on the theme “Leadership in Public Administration and Role of Ethical Governance” was successfully organized today at Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus, Jalandhar, in collaboration with NGO A4C (Dasuya).
The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment. Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of the Campus, extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries and participants. Sanjeev Kumar, President of NGO A4C Dasuya, introduced the seminar topic and formally presented the distinguished guests.
The seminar was graced by eminent personalities. Ms. Balwinder Kaur, IRS, Commissioner of Income Tax, Jalandhar, attended as the Chief Guest and in her address emphasized that ethical governance is the foundation of transparent, efficient, and citizen-centric administration.
Ms. Oishee Mandal, IAS, Assistant Commissioner, Hoshiarpur, the Special VIP Guest, highlighted the role of young leaders in bringing reforms and ensuring accountability in governance.
Dr. Kamaljeet Singh, Founder and Chairman of Green Planet, underlined the importance of balancing progress with sustainability and responsibility towards society. He also urged the students to remain goal-oriented in their studies and to set clear targets for personal and professional success.
Mr. Harjinder Singh Cheema, Chairman of Cheema Boilers Limited, shared his perspective on how integrity, innovation, and strong leadership principles are equally crucial in both industry and public governance. He too encouraged the students to adopt a focused, target-based approach in academics, stressing that determination and discipline are the keys to achievement.
On this occasion, all the distinguished dignitaries were honoured with mementoes as a token of remembrance and gratitude by the organizers.
The event witnessed active participation from students, faculty members, social workers, and professionals, who engaged with the speakers through an interactive session. The seminar created a valuable platform for dialogue between administrators, industry leaders, and youth, focusing on the need for transparent, accountable, and ethical systems of governance.
