Tikshan Sood Inaugurates 13th Hoshiarpur

Hoshiarpur/ Nov. 11/Daljeet Ajnoha : Former Cabinet Minister and President of the District Yoga Association, Mr. Tikshan Sood, inaugurated the 13th Hoshiarpur District Yoga Championship at Sood Bhawan with great fervour. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and Saraswati Vandana, marking the formal beginning of the championship.Participants, including children, demonstrated various yoga postures and presented cultural performances, captivating the audience. Nearly 400 participants took part in the championship this year, reflecting the growing interest in yoga across the district.In his address, Mr. Sood commended the District Yoga Association for consistently organizing such events over the past 13 years to promote awareness about yoga among the younger generation. He said that the initiative aims to build physical, mental, and spiritual strength among the youth.Mr. Sood emphasized that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, yoga has gained global recognition and has witnessed a revival as a treasured ancient Indian discipline.Distinguished guests present on the occasion included Seth Rohtash Jain, Prof. Ashish Sareen, Avinash Sood, Ram Dev Yadav, Anil Sood, Surinder Pal, Neerja Sood, Archana Jain, Sanjeev Sharma, Sanjeev Sood, Akshay, Arun Sood, Sunit, Jatinder Sood, Mrs. Jatinder Kaur, Shruti, Joginder Singh, Yoga Guru Anita Jaswal, and Swami Ram Chandra, among others.
