Punjab Govt Doing Excellent Work

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/May 5 : MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa inaugurated the newly constructed sports ground in Nangal Shahidan village. On this occasion, he congratulated the local residents and stated that the Punjab government is consistently taking concrete steps to promote sports.
MLA Jimpa said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is developing 3,100 sports grounds across the state in the first phase. He informed that around 30 sports grounds are being built in every assembly constituency according to local needs, so that youth can access sports facilities right in their villages and stay away from bad habits like drug addiction.
He added that this sports ground will prove highly beneficial not only for the youth but also for the village’s women and elderly. It will provide a safe and convenient environment for morning and evening walks, improving people’s health.
The MLA stated that such efforts will strengthen the sports culture in villages, and in the coming times, talented players will emerge from here to bring glory to the state and the country.
MLA Jimpa noted that the Punjab government has taken care of every section of society. Today, villagers who went on pilgrimage under the Chief Minister’s Tirth Yatra Scheme to pay obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib, Sri Durgiana Mandir in Amritsar, and other places have returned.
On this occasion, Sarpanch Nangal Shahidan Sarbjeet Kaur, Block Samiti member and Vice Chairman Hardeep Kaur, Zila Parishad member Kuljeet Singh, Youth President Pritpal Singh, Advocate Amarjot Singh Saini, Block President Amandeep Singh, Sukhwinder Singh Kaka, Prince Saini Panch Nangal Shahidan, Sarpanch Bilaspur Surjeet Pal, Sarpanch Singhpur Sukhwinder Singh, Sarpanch Mehtapur Gurvinder Kaur, Sarpanch Jahan Khela Parveen, Sarpanch Mahilawali Harpreet Kaur, Sarpanch Boothgarh Satnam Singh, Sarpanch Nau Gram Jaswinder Kaur, and Sarpanch Chakk Sadhu Amrjeet Singh, along with other dignitaries, were present.
