Ashok Aggarwal Again Entrusted with the Responsibility of State General Secretary

The newly constituted National Executive Committee (2026–2031) of the Akhil Bhartiya Aggarwal Sammelan has once again expressed its confidence in noted social worker and accomplished organizer Dr. Surinder Aggarwal, reappointing him as the Punjab State President of the organization. At the same time, dedicated and active member Ashok Aggarwal has been reappointed as the State General Secretary.
According to the appointment letter issued by National President Basant Kumar Mittal and National General Secretary Gopal Goyal, Dr. Surinder Aggarwal has been entrusted with this important responsibility once again in recognition of his unwavering commitment to society, dedication to the organization, strong leadership abilities, and remarkable contribution to the expansion of the organization across Punjab.
The national leadership reaffirmed its trust in Dr. Aggarwal based on the significant achievements of the Punjab unit under his leadership during the previous term. One of the most notable accomplishments was the successful inclusion of the life, ideals, and principles of Maharaja Agrasen Ji in the Class VIII curriculum of government schools, a landmark achievement for the organization.
Under his guidance, the organization also implemented the Artificial Limbs Project, providing prosthetic limbs to numerous underprivileged persons with disabilities. In addition, a Career Counselling Project was launched to help students make informed career choices, benefiting thousands through expert guidance and mentorship.
The Punjab unit has also been actively engaged in a wide range of social welfare initiatives, including educational and financial assistance to deserving Aggarwal students, medical support for tuberculosis patients and other needy families, organization of eye examination and treatment camps, assistance to flood-affected families during natural disasters, and support for housing construction for underprivileged sections of society. These efforts have earned the Punjab unit a distinct identity and recognition at the national level.
Expressing their gratitude to the national leadership, Dr. Surinder Aggarwal and Ashok Aggarwal stated that the reappointments are both an honor and a great responsibility. They assured that, with the support of the entire Punjab team, they would continue working with dedication to strengthen the community, empower youth, expand service activities, and spread the ideals and teachings of Maharaja Agrasen Ji among the masses.
They further reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the organization’s mission of social service, community development, and inclusive growth across Punjab.
