Hoshiarpur / Daljeet Ajnoha/July 7 : An important meeting was held in Mahilpur, led by Narinder Ajnoha (Block President, PSSF), to ensure the success of the Mulazim-Pensioner Joint Front rallies scheduled for Hoshiarpur on July 11 and Chandigarh on July 17. Speakers at the meeting — including Narinder Ajnoha, Makhan Singh Langeri, Amarjeet Kumar (Nangal Khilari), Paramjeet Katib, and Malkeet Singh Bahowal — said they decided on the actions below to press the Punjab government for several demands:
Restore the old pension scheme.
Regularize employees working on all types of contractual and honorarium (manbhatt) posts.
Grant pensioners a multiplication factor of 2.59.
Recover outstanding pay commission arrears and dues of dearness allowance (DA).
Reinstate the 37 deducted allowances and restore ACP (Accelerated Career Progression).
Cancel the central pay commission and pursue other legitimate demands.
Leaders noted that Punjab’s employees and pensioners are effectively receiving 25% less in salary and pension. They appealed to employees and pensioners to actively participate in the planned actions.
