Bram Shankar Jimpa Distributes School

Hoshiarpur/July 24 /Daljeet Ajnoha—Strengthening the Punjab government’s Education Revolution campaign, MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa on Friday distributed school bags to the Class XI and XII girls of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Railway Mandi. The event aimed to encourage higher-secondary students to remain dedicated to their studies and prepare for brighter futures.
Speaking at the programme, Jimpa said that providing essential academic facilities to students is among the state government’s top priorities. He added that initiatives such as distributing school bags not only motivate students but also boost their confidence, and reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring that no child’s education suffers for lack of resources.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Jimpa said, the Punjab government has brought about significant reforms in the education sector. He highlighted improvements to infrastructure in government schools under the Education Revolution campaign, including modernised classrooms, smart classrooms, upgraded furniture, cleaner environments and advanced facilities. The MLA also noted a focus on teacher training, holistic student development and the delivery of quality education.
Jimpa said that improved facilities and a better learning environment in government schools have strengthened parents’ trust and drawn more students to public education. He expressed confidence that the benefits of the state’s educational reforms will become more evident in the coming years and that Punjab’s students will make their mark at national and international levels.
The event was attended by councillors Balwinder Katna and Jagvinder Singh, Principal Rajan Arora, Vishal Sharma, youth coordinator Pritpal Singh, several teachers, school staff and a large number of students.
