Hoshiarpur/July 25/Daljeet Ajnoha : Continuing the Punjab government’s education drive, MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa today distributed school bags to Class XI and XII students at School of Eminence, Khwas Purheeran. Speaking at the event, he urged students to remain committed to their studies and set high goals to achieve success in life.
Jimpa said the Punjab government, under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is committed to continuously improving standards in government schools. By upgrading infrastructure, providing modern facilities and smart classrooms, and ensuring students receive essential academic supplies, the government aims to make quality education accessible to children in public schools. He added that initiatives such as the school-bag distribution boost students’ morale and facilitate their educational journey.
He asked students to take full advantage of the resources being provided, study with diligence and discipline, and bring pride to their parents, school and district. Jimpa also lauded the role of teachers, saying their contribution is vital to students’ holistic development.
Councillor Surinder Kumar, Kulvinder Singh Hundal, Kamaljeet Sonu, Jaswant Kala, Lion Ranjit Singh Rana, the school principal, teaching staff and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
