The 72nd annual Jor Mela at the ancient Maa Bhameshwari Mandir in Village Bham concluded with great fanfare on July 29–31. Organized under the leadership of head sevadar Behan Vinod Kumari and supported by the Bhameshwari Missionary Trust, Bham (Hoshiarpur), the three-day Annual Mela saw active participation from temple residents and local devotees.
Sevadar Gurnam Singh Jaswal told assembled devotees that the celebrations began with continuous morning processions (prabhat feris) from July 23. On July 29 a flag procession was held, and on July 30 a havan (fire ritual) was performed at 10 a.m., followed by arati at 11 a.m. Later that day, at 1 p.m., a Kanya Puja and community feast (Brahm Bhoj) were held, and at 2 p.m. the ritual of hoisting flags commenced. In the evening of July 30 a large annual Bhagwati jagran (all-night devotional vigil) took place. The festivities continued on July 31 with qawali performances.
Throughout the event, various artists praised the glory of the Mata ji Goddess, and langar-style meals were continuously distributed to attendees.
