National Seminar on Entrepreneurship Inspires

Hoshiarpur /August 4/Daljeet Ajnoha : Dasmesh Girls College, Chak Alla Baksh, Mukerian, in collaboration with NGO-A4C Dasuya, successfully organized a National Seminar on Entrepreneurship with the objective of promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility among students. The seminar was held under the leadership of Dr. Karamjit Kaur, Principal, while the programme was efficiently conducted by Ms. Anu Lata, IIC Coordinator. The event commenced with a Shabad recital followed by a tree plantation drive.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Sanjiv Kumar, President of NGO-A4C Dasuya, encouraged students to become entrepreneurs and job creators rather than job seekers. He emphasized that innovation, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility are the pillars of an Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India).
Welcoming the distinguished guests, Sardar Bikramjit Singh Chak, Administrative Director of the College, highlighted the institution’s continuous efforts to provide quality education and ensure the holistic development of students.
Ms. Mansi Tandon motivated students to embrace entrepreneurship with confidence. Dr. Kamaljit Singh, Chairman of Green Planet, spoke on the importance of entrepreneurship and environmental conservation. Dr. H.S. Cheema, Chairman of Cheema Boilers Limited, stated that innovation and skill development are the key drivers of India’s progress. Mr. Kunal Yadav, CMD of Indian Sucrose Limited, urged students to establish enterprises based on ethical values and innovation.
The Chief Guest, Ms. Balwinder Kaur (IRS), Commissioner of Income Tax, Jalandhar, inspired students to make honesty, discipline, and ethical leadership an integral part of their lives and professional careers.
In her concluding remarks, Dr. Karamjit Kaur, Principal, thanked all the guests and participants, stating that such seminars encourage students to become responsible entrepreneurs and socially conscious citizens.
The vote of thanks was presented by Mr. Ravinder Singh Chak, Chairman of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Educational Charitable Trust (Regd.), who appreciated the joint efforts of NGO-A4C Dasuya and Dasmesh Girls College in making the seminar a grand success.
Among the distinguished guests were Mr. Ravinder Sharma, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Indian Sucrose Limited, Mukerian, and Mr. V.P. Gupta, Vice President, Indian Sucrose Limited, who also graced the occasion.
The seminar was attended by Dr. Bhanu Jagdish Chandra, Principal, DAV College, Dasuya, along with Dr. Kulwant Singh, Dr. Akanksha Verma, Dr. Sonia Devi, Mrs. Renu Gupta, Mrs. Suman, Ms. Monica, Ms. Supinder Kaur, Ms. Geeta, Mr. Bhupinder Singh, Ms. Parminder Kaur, members of the faculty, and a large number of students.
