PRTC Jahan Khelan marks Van

Hoshiarpur/Sep 4 /Daljeet Ajnoha : To mark Van Mahotsav, the Punjab Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) depot at Jahan Khelan here organised a tree-planting programme in which a variety of fruit-bearing and shade-providing saplings were planted by staff under the leadership of depot commandant Mandeep Singh Gill.

On the occasion of Van Mahotsav, PRTC Jahan Khelan staff, led by Commandant Mandeep Singh Gill, planted different kinds of trees, including fruit-bearing and shade-giving species.
Speaking on the occasion, Commandant Gill said every person should plant at least one tree in their lifetime, noting that it not only purifies the environment but also holds special spiritual significance.
The programme was attended by, among others, Amandeep Kaur PPS, Jasbir Singh SP, Jasveer Singh, Ravinder Kumar ASI and other staff members.
