Dr. Ravjot Singh MLA Sham Churasi and Mr. Sanjeev Narula, Managing Director, Vardhman Yarns and Threads Ltd has inaugurated School Function
A blood donation camp organized by Vardhman in collaboration with Civil Hospital
Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/August 3 : Vardhman Yarns & Threads Ltd, Hoshiarpur has been initiating various activities in area of Education, Health, Rural development and Environment and Sustainability under its CSR programs within the city of Hoshiarpur and surroundings. As a part of series of CSR initiatives, today Dr. Ravjot Singh, MLA, Sham Churasi and Mr. Sanjeev Narula, Managing Director, Vardhman Yarns and Threads Ltd has inaugurated and dedicated two classrooms with furniture & fixtures, a Toilet blocks and water cooler with R.O at Govt Elementary Smart School, Singriwala, Hoshiarpur at a cost of Rs 30 lacs.
Dr. Ravjot Singh appreciated the contribution of Vardhman Yarns & Threads Ltd to this school and improving infrastructure in other government schools of Hoshiarpur. During this function he said that education keeps an important position in the development paradigm of the society and Vardhman has always been in front to support & encourage by taking initiatives under its CSR activities for such developments within and around the city of Hoshiarpur.
On this occasion, Mr. IMJS Sidhu, Director-Incharge -Vardhman,Mr. Tarun Chawla,Director (Fin & Admin) Vardhman Yarns & Threads Ltd along with other dignitaries, D.E.O Sardar Harjinder Singh, Dy.D.E.O Sardar Suhwinder Singh & Vill. Sarpanch Mr.Sukhchain Singh along with Saint Harmanjeet Singh were also present.
On this occasion, School has organized a cultural program presented by the school children. Mrs. Gagandeep kaur School Principal and her staff welcomed the guests and thanked Vardhman for supporting the school.
Earlier today Mr. Sanjeev Narula, Managing Director, inaugurated a Blood Donation camp organized by Vardhman in collaboration with Civil Hospital, Hoshiarpur in the company premises and 51 nos of Vardhman associates donated blood for cause of needy people.
