Cabinet Minister attended the Teej festival organized by ‘Virse De Waris Society’ in village Basi Dawood Khan

Cabinet Minister Punjab Bram Shankar Jimpa today attended the Teej festival organized by Virse De Waris Society in village Basi Dawood Khan in Hoshiarpur as the Chief Guest. On this occasion, the villagers and the members of the society warmly welcomed the Cabinet Minister.

The program started with a cultural program presented by the girls of the village, in which traditional folk songs and dances were performed. This wonderful performance of the girls won the hearts of all the people present. Appreciating the efforts of the children, the Cabinet Minister said that such programs play an important role in keeping our culture and traditions alive. He also rewarded the girls and the members of the society for their contribution.

In his address, the Cabinet Minister said that the festival of Teej is a symbol of respect for women and their power in our society. Such events can not only preserve our cultural heritage but also connect the younger generation to their roots.

Bram Shankar Jimpa also heard the problems of the people of the village. The villagers apprised him of problems like lack of drinking water supply in their area. The Minister took serious cognizance of all the problems and assured to instruct the concerned officials to solve them. He said that the government is fully committed to rural development and these problems will be solved as soon as possible.

On this occasion, the President of Virse de Waris Society thanked the Cabinet Minister and said that his arrival has infused new energy among the villagers. He expressed hope that the problems of the villagers will be solved soon by the government.

On this occasion Amarjit Singh Bajwa, Ashok Pehlwan, Sukhdev Singh Sukha, Advocate Amarjot, Preetpal, Jagtar Singh Sabi, Sarpanch Nirmal Kanta, Panch Balveer Kumar, Raj Kaur, Dalwinder Singh, Raj Rani, Vinakshi Kumari, Sarpanch Mahinder of village Mannan, Mangi Lal, Komalpreet Kaur, Harpreet Kaur, Ramanjot Saini, Jasleen Kaur, Sukhwinder Kaur, Anmolpreet Kaur, Harjot Singh, Gurbaj Singh, Taranpreet Kaur were also present.
