Hoshiarpurl Daljeet Ajnoha l May 17 : An important meeting of Youth Congress workers was held today under the leadership of District Youth Congress General Secretary Pranav Kripal, in which the illegal mining taking place in Garhshankar assembly constituency was discussed seriously. On this occasion, Pranav Kripal said that illegal mining is taking place on a war footing in Garhshankar assembly constituency. He said that so far 18 deaths have occurred in Garhshankar assembly constituency due to illegal mining tippers. He said that illegal mining is taking place in Garhshankar assembly constituency with the help of political leaders and administrative officials. He said that Youth Congress will raise a people’s movement against illegal mining and will go from village to village to mobilize people against illegal mining. He said that if the government does not take concrete steps against illegal mining, then a strong agitation will be started.
