Annual Chhinjh Mela to Be

Hoshiarpur, Oct 12 /Daljeet Ajnoha : The annual Chhinjh Mela is set to take place tomorrow, Monday, October 13, in the village of Pachnangal-Khushhalpur, located in the Hoshiarpur district. The traditional Chinjh mela is being organized with the collaboration of local residents, Non-Resident Indians, and people from neighboring areas under the leadership of Pehalwan Pankaj Dass.Organizers Sanjeev Pachnangal and Pankaj Dass jointly announced that prominent Pehalwan from various akhadas will participate in the competition, exhibiting their mastery of wrestling techniques. The Pehalwan securing the first position will be honored with a Bullet motorcycle as a prize.Active contributors to the event include Vipin Kumar, Mohan Lal, Dr. Pradeep Heera, Jassa Possi, Kamaljit Arora, and Pawan Kumar, among others, who are working together to ensure the successful organization of the annual chinjh mela
