Begumpura Damri Shobha Yatra to

Hoshiarpur/ Daljeet Ajnoha/April 1 : The grand Begumpura Damri Shobha Yatra, set to depart from Jalandhar Railway Station for Haridwar at 1 PM on Friday, April 3, 2026, will be historic in every sense to celebrate the 649th Prakash utsav of Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaji and spread the revolutionary ideology of Begumpura to every household.
In a message to the congregations, Sant Sarwan Das Bohan, chairman of the Guru Ravidas Sadhu Sampradaya Society (Regd.) Punjab, urged devotees to join the yatra with love and discipline, ensuring no one attends under the influence of intoxicants.
Pradhan Sant Nirmal Das Babejore and General Secretary Sant Inder Das Sekhae assured the congregations to participate fearlessly with faith and devotion, adding that all preparations for the yatra are complete. Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaji’s Prakash utsav will be observed with great reverence on April 5 in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. As part of this annual event, the society will flag off the grand Begumpura Damdi Shobha Yatra from Jalandhar at 1 PM on April 3, proceeding to Har ki Pauri in Haridwar, where thousands of devotees will gather for ardas before continuing.
On this occasion, Sant Paramjit Das Nagar (cashier), Sant Sarwan Das (senior vice-president), Sant Balwant Singh Dingerian (vice-president), Mahant Prashottam Lal Chak Hakim, Kripal Das Bharta, and Sant Ramesh Das Sherpur Kalran appealed to the congregations to join in large numbers. Those present included Sant Satwinder Heera, national president, All India Adi Dharma Mission; Sant Jagir Singh, Sarvat Bhala Ashram Nandachaur; Sant Manjit Das Himachal; Sant Manjit Das Vichoha; Baba Balkar Singh Wadal; Sant Kuldeep Das Basi Maruf; Sant Santokh Das Bharta; Sant Bibi Kuldeep Kaur Mahina; Sant Bibi Poonam Heera; Behan Santosh Kumari; and Sant Bibi Kamlesh Kaur Nahla, among others.
