Civil Surgeon Holds Meeting to

Hoshiarpur/Dec 10/Daljeet Ajnoha : A monthly review meeting of ongoing health programs in the district was held under the chairmanship of Civil Surgeon Dr. Balvir Kumar. Senior medical officers and district program officers participated in the meeting.Dr. Kumar instructed officials to implement health services smoothly and transparently. He emphasized preparedness by medical teams for the upcoming elections, prohibited the operation of condom vehicles, and directed all doctors to be present in the OPD on time. He also ordered that Medical Leave Reports (MLR) files be completed and uploaded online within 48 hours.Assistant Civil Surgeon Dr. Ajay Basra appreciated the health teams for filling nearly 2,000 pledge forms as part of the district’s organ donation campaign. Dr. Seema Garg stressed the availability of adequate medicines in Common Man Clinics, quick completion of pending vaccination files, and keeping all health services open on election day.Dr. Swati called for increased IPD filing under the Ayushman scheme, preparation of separate files for newborns, and timely updating of ODK data. Dr. Ranjit Singh emphasized regular health screening camps for the elderly, setting up separate OPD lines for them, and strengthening family planning activities.In conclusion, the Civil Surgeon urged all officers to contribute their best efforts to ensure that the health department’s services reach the maximum number of people effectively.
