Hoshiarpur / Daljeet Ajnoha/August 27 : At Sant Baba Dalip Singh Memorial Khalsa College, Domeli, run under the aegis of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, a cultural exhibition was organized on the occasion of a cultural program.
During the exhibition, the students of the college showcased various ancient household items brought from their homes, including brass pots, glasses, bowls, measuring weights, utensils, pitchers, trays, sieves, traditional cooking tools, old ornaments, parandas, bangles, kaliras, hand-crocheted handkerchiefs, fans, embroidered sheets, phulkaris, and many more traditional articles.
On this occasion, Ms. Tarmandeep Kaur, Head of the English Department, said that Punjab is known for its rich cultural heritage and traditional artifacts, and today’s young generation must remain aware and connected to it.
Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasoolpur, Principal of the College, encouraged the students to stay rooted in their glorious culture and heritage.
College students and the entire staff were present during the event.
