Punjab Government is committed to provide high quality health facilities to the public through Aam Aadmi Clinics : Rouri
Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Sept 23 : Deputy Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha Jai Krishan Singh Rouri today inaugurated Aam Aadmi Clinic Mahilpur under Block Paldi and Aam Aadmi Clinic Haibowal under Block Possi. Aam Aadmi Party Halka Incharge Harminder Singh Sandhu, Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur Dr. Pawan Kumar Shagotra were also specially present on this occasion.
Addressing the local residents on the occasion of inauguration of both Aam Aadmi Clinics, the Deputy Speaker said that the Punjab Government is committed to provide high quality health facilities to the public through Aam Aadmi Clinics. He said that 71 Aam Aadmi Clinics opened earlier in various phases in district Hoshiarpur are providing health services to the people very smoothly. Under the sixth phase of Aam Aadmi Clinics, two more Aam Aadmi Clinics, Mahilpur and Haibowal, are being dedicated today to provide the best and free health services to the people of the surrounding villages. Here local residents can get free treatment as well as 38 types of investigation facilities and 80 types of free medicines. He directed the new medical officer appointed there and the rest of the clinic staff to perform their duties with devotion and adopt a friendly behavior with the patients coming to the clinic.
During this, Civil Surgeon Dr. Pawan Kumar Shagotra said that OPD services, vaccination services, lab tests, maternal-child services, family planning services will also be available in Aam Aadmi Clinic, so that people can get high quality health facilities near their homes. Senior Medical Officer Block PHC Paldi, Dr. Jawinderwant Singh Bains, Senior Medical Officer CHC Mahilpur Dr. Jaswant Singh Thind, Senior Medical Officer PHC Possi Dr. Raghbir Singh, District Health Officer Dr. Jatinder Bhatia, Medical Officer Aam Aadmi Clinic, OSD Charanjit Singh Channi and dignitaries of the area also attended the occasion.
