The Gurdwara Management Committee of Basian village—blessed by the footprints of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji—organized the “92nd Annual Religious Diwan” with the grace of Guru Sahib and the special support of the Nanak Naam-chanting congregation.On this occasion, the Bhai Noora Mahi Seva Society (Regd.), Raikot, set up a free langar of religious literature and a dastar (turban-tying) education camp. Key attendees included society president Dr. Oulwinder Singh Raikot, chairman Master Pritam Singh Brahmi, Paramjit Kaur Brahmi, lecturer Balwinder Singh Basian, Narinder Kaur Basian, Jasdeep Kaur, Hardeep Kaur, and press secretary Nirmal Dost.Devotees from Basian village and surrounding areas showed great enthusiasm in obtaining the religious literature. They emphasized that regular free distributions of such material and dastar education camps are essential to connect the younger generation to their cultural heritage and traditions, especially as Western influences are adversely affecting today’s youth.Nanak Sar sect luminaries Baba Ghala Singh and Bhai Pritpal Singh Bargarhi also graced the event, praising the society’s initiative.
