Hoshiarpur/June 26/Daljeet Ajnoha : District Employment Generation, Skill Development & Training Officer Ramanpreet Kaur stated that the District Employment and Business Bureau, Hoshiarpur, is taking several proactive steps to help unemployed youth find suitable employment opportunities. She mentioned that the age-old saying, “Necessity is the mother of invention,” has been brought to life by the bureau’s employment mobile app.
Employment is a basic need for every household, and every young person aspires to get a job. However, they often lack the necessary information on where and how to find suitable job openings. This gap has been effectively bridged in recent years through the mobile app, which regularly posts updates on both government and private job opportunities.
In addition to job listings, the app also helps less-educated youth enroll in free skill development courses and offers assistance in applying for loans to start their own businesses. Ramanpreet Kaur noted that a large number of job seekers have already downloaded the app, and many of them have successfully secured employment through it.
She further highlighted that the mobile app has exceeded expectations in performance. With its help, well-educated youth have secured high-paying jobs in reputed private companies and schools.
She expressed her happiness in observing that even candidates from remote areas, such as the Kandi region, who previously could not reach the employment office physically, are now able to connect with the bureau from the comfort of their homes through their mobile phones.
Ramanpreet Kaur urged all youth of Hoshiarpur district to download the “DBEE Online” mobile app from the Google Play Store. She encouraged them to make full use of the app to get timely updates on private job openings, government job notifications, and other employment-related services – all from the convenience of their homes.
