Delhi / Daljeet Ajnoha/July 08 : A special meeting of the All India Adi Dharam Mission (Regd.) was held at Guru Ravidas Mandir, Sudarshan Park, New Delhi under the leadership of Sant Satvinder Heera, National President of the Mission. Captain B.R. Nair from the UK was also present as a special guest. During the five-hour-long session, followers of the Adi Dharam movement from across India and abroad shared their views and gave suggestions to transform the Adi Dharam movement into a mass movement that reaches every corner of society.
On this occasion, deep concern was expressed over the challenges facing the mission in modern times, growing social discrimination, and increasing incidents of atrocities and disrespect against women. The history of Adi Dharam and the need for collective efforts were also discussed.
During the event, in the presence of a large gathering, the election of the Delhi unit of the Adi Dharam Mission was conducted, and Guru Ravidas Mandir, Sudarshan Park, Delhi, was officially declared the national headquarters of the All India Adi Dharam Mission.
As per the election results: G.C. Salhan was appointed President of the Delhi unit, Hazari Lal, Praveen Dayal, and Banarsi Das were named Vice Presidents, Akshay Bhardwaj was appointed General Secretary, B.S. Sondhi became Secretary, Jaginder Singh Narwal was elected Organizing Secretary, Umar Pal as PRO, William Pal as Media Secretary, Nangoli as Secretary, O.P. Dhanda as Treasurer
Mrs. Manju Adibashi, Mrs. Rani Chopra, and Durga Prasad were appointed as members.
National President Sant Satvinder Heera congratulated the newly elected Delhi team and emphasized the need to begin creative efforts with unity, love, and brotherhood for the promotion of Adi Dharam and the reconstruction of the historical places discovered by Guru Ravidas Ji. He stressed the importance of bringing the Adi Dharam community onto a common platform to intensify the collective struggle for social justice and equality.
