Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Sept 12 :
Four MBBS seats in various medical colleges from the central pool during the academic session 2024-25 have been reserved by the Home Ministry of the Government of India for candidates from the category of common citizens affected by terrorism from all the states.
Giving information in this regard, Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur Komal Mittal said that among the medical colleges/institutions in which these seats have been reserved, one seat is reserved in A.N Magadh Medical College, Gaya (Bihar), one in Grant Medical College, Mumbai (Maharashtra) and two in J.N.M Medical College, Raipur (Chhattisgarh).
She said that for this, children of families affected by terrorism, who have the necessary qualifications for MBBS, can apply. She said that for this, the candidate must have passed 12th class in medical subjects with 50 percent marks in general category and 40 percent marks for SC, ST, OBC. It is mandatory for the candidate to have 50 percent marks in NEET paper for general category and 40 percent marks for SC, ST, and OBC.
The Deputy Commissioner said that eligible candidates can send their application form to Rajiv Kumar, Under Secretary (CT-2), Room No. 81, CTCR Division, North Block, New Delhi before 17 September. Apart from this, the application and related documents can be scanned and mailed to rajeev.kumar67@nic.in.
