“I consider it my duty to take care of every trouble bothering my constituents, and I try to solve every problem from the root”, these thoughts of Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal MP Hoshiarpur, were quoted by AAP candidate Dr. Ishank Kumar when he was addressing his meetings in Bichhohi and surrounding villages. He said that these words of always encourage me to try hard to solve the issues of our people and I will definitely follow the path shown by him! Dr. Ishank said that he has always noticed that during the tenure of Dr. Raj, he always strived hard to solve the problems from the root and not just make temporary arrangements. A live example of this is bridge constructed on Bichhohi Choe. Multiple times the heavy rains washed away the causeway built on this choe posing severe commutation issues to the residents of in and around this village. Every time it happened, causeway was being reconstructed and the story repeated. It was Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal who took the onus to resolve this issue forever and today a bridge can be seen in place of that causeway. Due to this bridge built at a cost of 2 crore 10 lakhs, not only Bichhohi and Parsowal, but dozens of villages such as Tajowal, Nasran-Badhana, Bherua, Sarangwal, Suna etc. also got a big relief. Dr. Ishank said that this is what I have learned from my father that solving the problems faced by the constituents is a great service and it gives a hearty comfort and I am also committed to the service of the constituency, following this path shown by him. Dr. Ishank said that if he gets an opportunity to serve the constituency with the support of his constituents, then he will immediately start the work of the Parsowal Choe bridge after winning. Apart from this, it will be my duty to develop the constituency and provide better basic facilities to the residents of the constituency by solving any problems that my constituents may bring to my attention and I will do it with full sincerity.
