In the Under-15 Women’s Cricket Inter-District Cricket Competition, the Hoshiarpur team performed brilliantly in the 35-35 overs match and defeated the District Fatehgarh Sahib team by 6 wickets and earned 4 points. Giving information in this regard, HDCA Secretary Dr. Raman Ghai said that in this match of the Under-15 Women’s Cricket Tournament being organized by the Punjab Cricket Association, the Fatehgarh Sahib team won the toss and batted first and scored 102 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 35 overs. In which Vaibhleen Kaur scored 26 and Joban Kaur scored 23 runs. Jasmine, Annaya Thakur, Dhruvika Seth, Hiya, Supreet Kaur, Ishanvi Garg bowled brilliantly for Hoshiarpur and helped restrict District Fahetgarh Sahib to 102 runs. Jasmine took 3 wickets, Ishanvi Garg and Hiya took 1 wicket each. Coming to bat with a target of 103 runs in 35 overs to win, Hoshiarpur team scored 104 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 22.5 overs and won the match by 6 wickets. Pratika scored 21 runs, Jasmine 12 and Sanjana 10 and Captain Dhruvika Seth scored 11 runs and led Hoshiarpur to victory. On this victory of Hoshiarpur, team and district coach Davinder Kaur Kalyan, assistant coach Ashok Sharma, team and district trainer former national player Kuldeep Dhami, district coach Daljit Singh and Daljit Dhiman, Sodhi Ram congratulated the team on this big victory and wished the players all the best for the future.
