Hoshiarpur Nature Fest–2026: A Unique

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Feb.15 : The Nature Fest–2026 being organized in Hoshiarpur has emerged as a vibrant confluence of nature, adventure and culture for tourists as well as local residents. Over the past two days, people enthusiastically participated in various activities and spent memorable moments amidst the beauty of nature.
On Saturday morning, tourists enjoyed a jungle safari and boating at Chohal, experiencing the scenic beauty up close. On Sunday morning, participants explored the diverse shades of nature through trekking, bird watching and off-roading activities.
Night camping at Solis Tharoli remained a major attraction. Visitors relished camping under the open sky, while open mic sessions and musical performances made the evening truly memorable.
On Sunday, an off-roading adventure was organized from Lajwanti Sports Stadium to Kukanet-Dehriyan. Cultural performances and various stalls added charm to the festival atmosphere, with visitors enjoying local products and delicacies.
Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said that the main objective of the Nature Fest is to introduce tourists to the natural beauty and tourism potential of Hoshiarpur. She stated that the festival is an important initiative to bring people closer to nature while offering adventure and entertainment.
She further informed that on February 16, tourists will be taken for industrial visits to Unnati, Fapro and Citrus units, along with a Miyawaki site visit, Kids Carnival at Van Chetna Park, and cultural activities at Lajwanti Stadium.
On February 17, results of various competitions will be announced during the closing ceremony. The Singer Night by renowned Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan will be the main highlight of the event. On the same day, the star cast of the Punjabi film Bambukat 2 — Simi Chahal, Ammy Virk and Karamjit Anmol — will also interact with the audience.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the residents of the district to participate in this unique event along with their families and support the efforts toward environmental conservation and promotion of local tourism.
On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Nikas Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Amarbir Kaur Bhullar, SDM Mukerian Oeshi Mandal, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Jyoti Bala, SDM Hoshiarpur Gursimranjit Kaur, Assistant Commissioner Parampreet Singh and other officials were present.
