Lion Sanjeev Arora Honoured for

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/ Nov.1 : A special ceremony organized by Lions Club Hoshiarpur Pearl under the leadership of President Vijay Arora witnessed the felicitation of noted social worker Lion Sanjeev Arora. The District Chairperson for Eye Donation (321-D) honoured Arora for his dedicated efforts in spreading awareness about eye donation and facilitating cornea transplants.Distinguished guests including District Governor Lion V. M. Goel, Past District Governors Lion Harish Banga and Lion Davinder Arora, and First Vice District Governor G. S. Bhatia graced the occasion.While honouring him, District Governor V. M. Goel remarked that the Lions Club feels immensely proud of the commendable work being done by Lion Sanjeev Arora in promoting eye donation awareness. He added that giving light to someone’s darkened world is one of the noblest deeds of humanity. Calling upon all Lions members, he urged them to pledge for posthumous eye donation to help bring light to the lives of the visually impaired.Past District Governors Harish Banga and Davinder Arora lauded the humanitarian spirit of Sanjeev Arora, noting that society needs more individuals who dedicate their lives to serving humanity. They emphasized that a large-scale awareness drive will soon be launched across multiple clubs to further popularize eye donation. Davinder Arora, himself associated with an eye donation trust, shared that witnessing someone regain sight through corneal transplant is an emotional and gratifying experience for families and society alike.Expressing gratitude for the honour, Lion Sanjeev Arora reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to him by the Lions Club 321-D. He announced that an extensive campaign involving all clubs will soon be undertaken to strengthen the eye donation movement and bring light to lives lost in darkness.The event was attended by Lions Umesh Rana, Gaurav Khattar, Kumar Gaurav, Harjeet Bhatia, Ashwini Dutta, H.
