Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha : Chabbewal MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar is actively working for development projects across his constituency. Recently, he inaugurated a new interlock road constructed in village Patti at a cost of ₹10 lakh. The road stretches from the house of local resident Kapil Dev to Sri Guru Ravidas Chowk. This project was a long-pending demand of the villagers, who specifically requested it to be built with interlock paving.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ishank said that he is continuously working to improve basic infrastructure in every village of his constituency. He added that ensuring fundamental amenities such as roads, drainage systems, street lights, and clean drinking water in every village of Chabbewal is his responsibility. “Our aim is not only to complete development projects but also to make the lives of common people easier,” he said.
The MLA assured that the faith people have shown in him will always be upheld and that development will reach every corner of the constituency. On behalf of the villagers, Sarpanch Shinderpal Coach expressed gratitude to Dr. Eishank, stating that the construction of this road has fulfilled a long-standing demand of the village residents. Villagers also expressed hope that under his leadership, the pace of development in the region would continue.
On this occasion, Sarpanch Shinderpal, Panch Sohan Lal Sahota, Daljit Singh (Block President), Panch Balwinder Singh, Panch Surinder Kaur, Harbhajan Singh, Charanjit Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Kamlesh Kumar (former Panch), Neelam Rani, Salma, along with many other dignitaries were present.
