MLA Inaugurates New Langar Hall

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Nov.21 : A new langar hall at the revered Peer Baba Rehmat Shah shrine in Patti village, Hoshiarpur, was inaugurated by local MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar. The langar hall was constructed with the efforts and contributions of the shrine’s Mukh sevadar, Baba Rattan Singh Dhanota, and other devotees.Before the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Kumar paid obeisance at the shrine and sought blessings of Baba Ji. Addressing the gathering, he announced a grant of Rs 3 lakh for the further development of the shrine.During the event, noted artists and a Naqal (folk theatre) troupe presented devotional performances before the gathering. Baba Ji also honoured several distinguished guests and community members for their contributions. The ceremony concluded with the serving of the traditional langar to all devotees present.A large number of sevadars and disciples attended the inauguration ceremony, marking it as a significant occasion for the local community.
