MLA Jimpa inaugurates road worth ₹39.67

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/April 23 : In a boost to urban development projects by the Punjab government, a key road in Ward 18 was dedicated to the public today. MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa inaugurated the new road from Purhiran Chowk to Gurdwara Sri Jahar Jhoor Sahib, constructed at a cost of approximately ₹39.67 lakh. This will provide better connectivity for local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Bram Shankar jimpa stated that the Punjab government is continuously working to strengthen basic infrastructure in every ward of the city. He noted that the road’s completion brings major relief to Ward 18 residents, who had long demanded improved road facilities. Devotees visiting Gurdwara Sri Jahar Jhoor Sahib and locals will now benefit from smoother access.
MLA jimpa added that the state government is prioritising development works based on public needs, with more such projects planned for the area. He appealed to residents for cooperation in development initiatives and assured that basic amenities across all city wards would be further enhanced.
The inauguration was attended by Mayor Surinder Kumar, Kush Sharda, Harpal Singh Pala, Harbhajan Singh Master, Satwant Singh Sian, Sonu, and other dignitaries.
