MLA Jimpa inaugurates Rs 20.53 lakh

Hoshiarpur/ Daljeet Ajnoha/April 10 : MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa today kickstarted a Rs 20.53 lakh project to lay paver blocks from Ghanta Ghar Chowk to Shri Hanuman Mandir and further to Gur Mandi, giving fresh momentum to the city’s development works.
On the occasion, he emphasised that improving roads and lanes remains his top priority to ensure smooth commuting for the general public.
Directing municipal corporation officials, MLA Jimpa instructed them to complete the work within the stipulated timeframe without compromising on quality. He stressed the need for transparency and high standards in development projects so that people can benefit from these facilities for years to come.
He added that the Punjab government is committed to the city’s all-round development, with more such initiatives planned across sectors ahead. The project will provide significant relief to local residents and traders while enhancing the area’s aesthetics.
Mayor Surinder Kumar was among those present, along with Hansraj Walia, Sanjeev Walia, Joginder Pal, Darshan Lal Gupta, Ravi Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Kailash Jain, Hitesh Gupta, Ramesh Ohri, Arun, Karan, Suraj, Krishna Gopal Sharma, Anju Sharma, Sudesh Walia, Manisha, Suresh Kumar and Veena Sharma. All praised the initiative and thanked the MLA.
