Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/August 27 :Advocate and MLA from Dasuya, Karambir Singh Ghuman has outlined his vision for the city’s overall development with key civic and infrastructure projects.
Speaking to senior journalist Sanjeev Kumar, he informed that a jeti machine worth ₹50 lakh has been handed over to the Municipal Committee to ensure effective disposal of sewerage and rainwater (nikasi). This step, he said, will greatly benefit residents by addressing long-pending drainage issues.
Sharing further development plans, the MLA revealed that the road stretch from Dasuya Chungi to Belgan Chowk will soon undergo beautification, where a modern paveway with decorative tiles will be constructed to enhance the city’s outlook and provide convenience to pedestrians.
In addition, Ghuman announced that with an investment of ₹35 lakh, aesthetic street lights will soon be installed on the National Highway road from SDM Chowk up to King Virat Hotel. These lights will not only improve road safety at night but also add to the city’s charm.
MLA Ghuman reiterated his commitment to transforming Dasuya into a model town with modern civic amenities and assured that more people-centric initiatives are on the way.
