Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Jan 1 :/Narinder Singh Shergill, Chairman, Milkfed Punjab, shared the vision and future roadmap of Milkfed Punjab during an in-depth interaction with senior journalist Sanjiv Kumar. He lauded the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, stating that under his dynamic guidance, the Milkfed Department is performing exceptionally well and achieving new milestones.
Highlighting growing consumer trust, Mr. Shergill said that Verka products have emerged as the first choice of consumers due to their assured quality, purity, and nutritional value. He emphasized that Milkfed Punjab is working with full dedication for the welfare of farmers, particularly dairy farmers, by continuously making efforts to enhance their income.
“Our primary objective is to economically strengthen dairy farmers by ensuring fair prices, expanding milk procurement, and promoting value-added dairy products,” Mr. Shergill said.
He further stated that the Verka brand is being further strengthened through the introduction of a wide range of products manufactured under highly hygienic conditions, involving minimal human touch and strict quality control mechanisms. “Quality remains the hallmark of Verka products, and we are fully committed to maintaining the highest standards,” he added.
On the occasion, the Chairman also extended New Year greetings to the people of Punjab and appealed to consumers to adopt Verka products for a healthy and nutritious lifestyle.
The interaction took place in Mohali in the presence of Mr. Bikram Singh Mahal, General Manager, Milkfed Mohali; Mr. Amarjit Singh, General Manager (HR), Head Office, Milkfed Punjab; and Mr. Bant Singh Kular, Director, Milk Plant, Mohali, who were also present on the occasion.
