Hoshiarpur / Daljeet Ajnoha/April 7 : District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer Hoshiarpur Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur informed that an online webinar regarding Agniveer recruitment was organized by District Employment and Entrepreneurship Bureau / Model Career Center Hoshiarpur. Inaugurating this webinar, Colonel Shri Vipulav from Jalandhar Cantt informed the students of all the schools participating in the webinar about the Agniveer scheme and told that after completing their studies, the candidates can join the Indian Army as “Agniveer” under the “Agneepath” scheme. He also informed that candidates from the age of 17 and a half years to 21 years can apply for these various posts.
Apart from this, Brigadier Shri Vijay Bhaskar, associated with Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute Mohali, while telling about his institute in this webinar, said that by studying from this institute, candidates can make their career as an officer in the army. Apart from this, Career Counselor Shri Vishal Chawla from District Employment Office provided complete information about other institutes run by Employment Department Punjab like Mai Bhago Armed Forces Preparatory Institute for Girls, Mohali and C-Pite Institute.
