Orientation Programme for New Admitted

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/August 11 : Rayat College of Law successfully conducted an Orientation Programme for the new batch of BA/B.Com LL.B (Hons.) 5-Years students . The event aimed to familiarize students with the academic environment, institutional values, and the vast opportunities available in the legal profession.
The programme was graced by Ms. Amandeep Kaur Aulakh, CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Rupnagar, as the Chief Guest, and S. Nirmal Singh Rayat, Chancellor, Lamrin Tech Skills University, Punjab, as the Special Guest.
The event was inaugurated with a tree plantation ceremony in the college premises, symbolizing growth, sustainability, and new beginnings. NSS volunteers played a key role in maintaining discipline and coordinating the registration process throughout the programme.
Dr. Monika Sharma delivered the welcome address, warmly greeting the dignitaries and the new students. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of hard work, discipline, and dedication in life, particularly in the legal profession. The Chief Guest, Ms. Amandeep Kaur Aulakh, inspired the students by highlighting career opportunities in the field of law and encouraged them to work with integrity and commitment.
Following this, Mr. Ajitabh Mishra presented the college’s rules and regulations. The programme was jointly coordinated by Mr. Ajitabh Mishra and Dr. Sohnu, NSS Programme Officer, with valuable support from student coordinators Ms. Ritu and Ms. Simran.
To make the day engaging, first-year students participated in ice-breaking games and self-introduction sessions, fostering interaction and building camaraderie. Various college clubs, including the NSS Unit, Rotaract Club, and Moot Court Club, introduced their objectives and activities, encouraging freshers to actively participate in extracurricular engagements.
Dr. Mahender Singh, Vice Principal, appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee and extended a warm welcome to the new students, wishing them a successful and enriching academic journey.
