Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Dec.17 : The athletes of Aatmsukh Aashram Aashram (For Living Gods), Hoshiarpur, brought great honor to their institution with an outstanding performance at the 26th Punjab State Special Olympics–2025, held from 12 to 14 December 2025 at Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar.
This state-level competition witnessed participation from around 700 athletes representing 23 districts of Punjab and 30 special schools. Twelve special children from Aatmsukh Aashram Aashram participated in various sports events and delivered exceptional performances, winning the Second Trophy in the Top–3 (Big School) category.
The players of the Ashram won a total of 22 medals, including:
• 9 Gold Medals
• 8 Silver Medals
• 5 Bronze Medals
This achievement is the result of the children’s hard work, dedication, and continuous efforts, along with the constant guidance and support provided by their coaches and the institution. The Ashram described this success as a true reflection of the abilities and self-confidence of children with special needs.
On this proud occasion, Shr Navdeep Sud, President of Tek Chand Sood Charitable Trust, congratulated the special children, their teachers—especially Principal Mr. Pawan Singh, Mrs. Sapna, Ms. Manisha, along with the entire Ashram staff and volunteers—for this remarkable achievement. He also announced special rewards for the children in recognition of their success.
