Hoshiarpur / Daljeet Ajnoha/July 18: Vice President of Punjab Cricket Association (PCA), Deepak Bali, during his visit to Hoshiarpur, held a meeting with the officials of District Cricket Association Hoshiarpur (HDCA). On this occasion, Member of Parliament Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal was specially present and assured Sushil Bali of special facilities to promote cricket in Hoshiarpur.
Dr. Raj Kumar stated that the Punjab Government is planning to develop a stadium in Hoshiarpur not only for cricket but also for other sports. This initiative will contribute to the overall promotion of sports across the state.
Deepak Bali said that the Punjab Cricket Association will provide need-based special facilities to cricket associations across all districts of Punjab to strengthen cricket infrastructure. He noted that over the past few years, many talented cricketers from smaller districts of Punjab have risen through hard work and now represent Punjab and even the national team. To continue this progress, skilled players from every district will be selected and trained under the supervision of experienced coaches provided by the PCA.
He praised the efforts of HDCA, highlighting how the association has been providing free training to young cricketers and preparing them for state and national level competitions. He congratulated the HDCA for its commendable efforts.
On Deepak Bali’s arrival in Hoshiarpur, he was honored by the HDCA.
Present on the occasion were HDCA President Dr. Daljit Khelan, Secretary Dr. Raman Ghai, Joint Secretary Thakur Yograj, Vice President Subhash Sharma, Tournament Committee Chairman Dr. Pankaj Shiv, Amit Thakur, Gaurav Walia, Dr. Raj Kumar Saini, Jasvir Singh, and Coach Daljit Singh, who presented a memento to Deepak Bali as a token of respect.
