Local Bodies Minister dedicated development projects worth Rs. 37.65 lakh in 4 schools of Assembly constituency Sham Chaurasi
Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/April 19 : Under the ‘Punjab Shiksha Kranti’ campaign launched by the state government with the aim of bringing revolutionary changes in the education system of the state, Local Bodies Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh today dedicated development projects worth Rs. 37.65 lakh in 4 schools of Assembly constituency Sham Chaurasi.
Local Bodies Minister today dedicated classrooms and boundary walls constructed at a cost of 9.36 lakh in Government High School Meghowal Ganjian, classrooms constructed at a cost of Rs. 7.51 lakh in Government Elementary School Rajowal, boundary wall constructed at a cost of Rs. 9.18 lakh in Government Elementary School Badowal and development projects constructed at a cost of Rs. 11.60 lakh in Government Elementary School Ramnagar Dheha. Inaugurated the constructed boundary wall and sports track.
While addressing the functions organized in the schools, the Local Bodies Minister said that the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is making massive efforts to develop government schools in every aspect and to provide quality and modern education to the students. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government is giving top priority to education and is providing state-of-the-art infrastructure in government schools. He said that due to the initiatives of the Punjab Government, today while the number of students in government schools has increased, facilities at par with private schools are also being provided in government schools.
Dr. Ravjot Singh said that the Punjab Government has taken initiatives to raise the standard of education in government schools by establishing School of Eminence, sending teachers abroad for training, starting bus service, appointing campus managers and security guards and providing education through digital medium. He said that the Punjab Government has started the Shiksha Kranti to improve the education system of Punjab and to make the future of the children of Punjab safe and bright and in the coming days also, development works will be inaugurated in government schools under this campaign.
On this occasion, the Cabinet Minister also appealed to the parents to educate their children in government schools and take maximum advantage of the facilities being provided there. On this occasion, school children also presented cultural programs.
On this occasion, Ravinder Kaur, Amarjit Virdi, Dr. Jarnail Singh, Manjit Singh Janda, Principal Dharminder Singh, Anish Kumar, Ramesh Bagga, Hardeep Singh, Manjit Singh, Sukhwant Singh, Bahadur Singh, Kulveer Singh, Amanjit Singh, Vikas Sharma, Sarpanch Jaswinder Kaur, Jagroop, Maninder Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Jagtar Singh and other dignitaries were also present.
