Kapurthala defeated Namdhari Football Club Bhaini Sahib 2-1 in the club category final of the 16th Doaba Cup Football Tournament, organized by Doaba Sporting Club Kherra Mahilpur under the leadership of club president Iqbal Singh Kherra.In the village category final, teams from Bhama and Kherra ended in a 3-3 draw, with the organizers awarding the winner’s trophy and cash prize to the Bham team.Chief guest Harvinder Singh Sandhu, Shiromani Akali Dal leader from Chabbewal, and Manmohan Singh from Ropar blessed the players and distributed prizes.
