Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Dec.24 : Rayat Bahra Group launched a cyber security awareness campaign, with Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria as the special guest. The Governor released an awareness poster highlighting various aspects of digital security and precautionary measures to stay alert.
Chairman Gurvinder Singh Bahra emphasized the importance of cyber security in today’s era, stating it is crucial not only for protecting personal information but also for safeguarding the country’s digital infrastructure. He added that the campaign aims to sensitize students and teachers about digital threats and promote responsible online practices.
Former MP Avinash Rai Khanna shared that students were educated about the National Cyber Crime Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and informed about accessing cyber helplines, police assistance, and free legal aid services.
Campus Director Dr. Chander Mohan stated that the campaign seeks to make students, teachers, and staff aware of digital threats and empower them with knowledge of security measures.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and staff, who pledged to remain vigilant and uphold digital security practices.
