Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha /Oct.16— The Department of Allied Health Sciences (Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology) at Rayat Bahra Professional University celebrated World Anaesthesia Technology Day under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Dr. Chander Mohan and leadership of Principal Dr. Harinder Gill.
During the event, quizzes, street plays, awareness talks, and academic sessions were organized to enhance students’ knowledge and practical understanding. Students showcased remarkable talent and teamwork.
Dean Dr. Atul Khajuria said that anaesthesia technicians and specialists are the unsung heroes of the operation theatre who ensure every surgery is safe and play a crucial role in saving lives.
Head of Department Dr. Sukhmeet Bedi stated that the purpose of the program was to highlight the vital role of anaesthesia technicians in safe surgery and patient care. She added that the event not only boosted students’ confidence and professional skills but also increased public awareness about the role of anaesthesia professionals in modern medicine.
