Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Mar 02 :;The University School of Fashion, Beauty, and Lifestyle Design, under the aegis of Rayat Bahra Professional University, organized a skill development workshop at the Government Senior Secondary School, Jallowal, under the aegis of the NSS unit.
The program was organized under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Dr. Chander Mohan and the leadership of Charanpreet Singh, Head of the University School of Fashion, Beauty, and Lifestyle Design. The program aimed to promote creativity, business awareness, and community engagement among school students.
NSS Teacher Coordinators Pankaj and Jasneet Kaur coordinated the program with the support of the school administration. A practical workshop was organized for the University’s NSS volunteers and students.
The workshop provided students with practical training in hand painting, embroidery, and crocheting. These sessions provided opportunities for creative expression and taught them craft-based skills that can help them become self-reliant in the future.
Speaking on the occasion, Charanpreet Singh said that such efforts of NSS will continue in the future as well, so that the objectives of community engagement, skill development and youth empowerment can be realized and the relationship between the university and the local community can be further strengthened.
