Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/July 13 : Rotary Club Hoshiarpur Mid Town took another significant step in the field of social service by organizing an inspiring humanitarian effort under “Annapurna Week” as part of its “Monthly Ration Distribution Project.” On this occasion, the club contributed approximately two quintals of ration to Dhan Guru Ramdas Ji Langar Seva, Purheera.
The objective of this initiative was to provide food to the needy so that no individual, regardless of their social background, sleeps hungry. The ration included daily essential items such as pulses, salt, flour, sugar, oil, and tea leaves. This initiative reflects the club’s unwavering commitment to social welfare.
On this occasion, Club President Rotarian Avtar Singh stated that the Rotary Club is not confined to just social events, but has become a symbol of service, support, and unity. He added, “Our effort is to ensure that every month, in one way or another, help reaches the underprivileged sections of society.”
Filled with a spirit of service toward the community, this program was not only inspirational but also demonstrated that collective efforts can bring positive change in society. This initiative by the Rotary Club is sure to set an example for other social organizations in the future.
The service event saw the active participation of Secretary Inderpal Singh Sachdeva, Manoj Ohri, D.P. Kathuria, Rajneesh Kumar Guliani, Kuljit Singh Saini, Jaswant Singh Bhogal, Sandeep Sharma, Parveen Pabbi, Rohit Chopra, Parveen Palial, Jagmeet Singh Sethi, Rajesh Maini, Anu Maini, Babli Pabbi, Kamaljit Kaur, Rajvinder Kaur, and several other Rotarian members, all of whom played a significant role in making the event successful.
