Rotary Club Reviews Preparations for

Hoshiarpur/Oct 25/Daljeet Ajnoha :  A special meeting of the Rotary Club was held under the chairmanship of Club President, Rotarian Avatar Singh, to discuss detailed preparations for the upcoming free eye check-up and surgery camp scheduled for November 7 in the village of Chabbewal.During the meeting, it was decided that all patients visiting the camp will receive free medicines, meals, and spectacles to ensure that no one faces financial hardship while availing of medical assistance.President Rotarian Avatar Singh said that this service camp symbolizes the Rotary Club’s commitment to social welfare and aims to provide relief to people suffering from vision-related problems. He added that Rotary Club Warwick (England), former president Rotarian Bill Jaspal, and Rotarian Gurnandan Singh are the key collaborators in this noble initiative.Club Secretary Inderpal Singh Sachdeva briefed members on various arrangements being made for the camp. He informed that qualified ophthalmologists, modern diagnostic equipment, and adequate medical supplies have been arranged. Facilities for meals and rest will also be provided to patients for their convenience.Among those present were club members Sanjeev Sharma, Binder Singh, J.S. Bhogal, Vikram Sharma, Parveen Pabbi, Rakesh Kapoor, Jatinder Kumar, Manoj Ohri, D.P. Kathuria, Rohit Chopra, Jagmeet Singh Sethi, Rajneesh Guliani, Kuljit Singh Saini, and Jatinder Duggall, among others. All members pledged their individual support to ensure the camp’s success.Members of the Rotary Club expressed that this initiative would not only bring light to the lives of those in need but also strengthen the spirit of service in the community. The club appealed to citizens to participate in large numbers and encourage their families and acquaintances to take advantage of the free eye check-up camp.The meeting concluded with the slogan of service and dedication, as all members resolved to make the upcoming camp a historic and successful milestone in the Rotary Club’s journey of community service.
