Hoshiarpur/ 20 Dec /Daljeet Ajnoha : Sagar, a talented student of Aatmsukh Aatmdev Aashram (For Living Gods), Old, Kanak Mandi, Hoshiarpur, has achieved a remarkable feat at the national level by winning a Silver Medal while representing the Punjab team in the National Football Championship organized by Special Olympics Bharat. Through this achievement, he has brought pride to the institution, the district, and the state.
The prestigious championship was held in Kolkata from 17th to 21st November 2025, with the objective of strengthening preparation and the selection process for the upcoming World Games 2027, to be held in Santiago, Chile. Throughout the tournament, Sagar displayed outstanding discipline, excellent football skills, strong teamwork, and remarkable confidence, which helped the Punjab team secure Second Place.
On this proud achievement, the President Sewak of Aatmsukh Aatmdev Aashram (For Living Gods), Sh. Navdeep Sud, congratulated Sagar and encouraged him by presenting a cash incentive of Rs. 20,000/- through a cheque. Sh. Navdeep Sud stated that players like Sagar are a source of inspiration not only for the institution but for society as a whole.
